Katherine Tatiana López Murillo

Katherine Tatiana López Murillo was a 21-year-old Costa Rican woman who tragically lost her life on February 20, 2023, allegedly murdered by her ex-partner. Known for her joyful spirit and dedication to motherhood, Katherine aspired to provide a better future for her 11-month-old son through education and hard work. Her family described her as an exemplary mother who dreamed of completing her studies to improve her child's quality of life. Despite facing psychological abuse from her ex-partner, she had made the courageous decision to separate from him just two months prior to her death.
