Katie Keenan has been named the CEO of Blackstone’s Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT) and global head of the Core+ business following the tragic shooting of former CEO Wesley LePatner. With over a decade of experience at Blackstone, she previously served as the global co-chief investment officer of the company's real estate debt strategies and CEO of mortgage trust. Keenan is recognized for her leadership in navigating complex real estate investments and is set to lead BREIT, which boasts over $100 billion in assets, during a significant recovery phase in the real estate market.
