Katja Konc is a young researcher at the Department of Agricultural Economics, Policy, and Law at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana. Her work focuses on understanding the motivations of farmers in preserving nature and biodiversity, as they are key players in shaping cultural landscapes. With a keen interest in ecology and interdisciplinary research, she emphasizes the importance of involving local communities in environmental restoration efforts. Katja is also actively engaged in herpetology, studying reptiles and amphibians, and is involved in activities with the Herpetological Society of Slovenia.
