Katja Novičkova

Katja Novičkova is an Estonian artist born in 1984, known for her work that explores the intersection of nature and technology. Her art often addresses contemporary ecological and social issues, utilizing found images and data to create thought-provoking installations. Notably, she represented Estonia at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017 and has exhibited internationally, collaborating with various galleries, including Temnikova & Kasela in Tallinn and Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler in Berlin. Currently based in Amsterdam and Berlin, Novičkova's recent work includes her exhibition 'Galaktikas dārzi', which features multimedia installations that highlight the complexities of our image-saturated culture.
