Kauan de Souza

Kauan de Souza, who had just turned 18, tragically lost his life when he was drawn into the criminal world of his community. Despite his dreams of becoming a firefighter and his close bond with his mother, he began to distance himself from family and was influenced by peers who offered a sense of belonging through illegal activities. His mother desperately searched for him after he went missing, holding onto hope until the heartbreaking moment she recognized his body at the IML. She mourns the loss of a good and gentle boy who sought respect and importance in a dangerous environment.
