Kavida Niyangoda

Kavida Niyangoda, a 12-year-old student from a prominent boys' school in Mahanuwara, tragically drowned while swimming in the Victoria Reservoir during a school outing. His death occurred alongside two other students who were also in the water, with only two being rescued and taken to the local hospital.
