Kaya Sy

Kaya Sy is the strategic development and partnerships officer for Equilibres & Populations and a member of the Réseau ADS. At the Forum des citoyens de l’Union africaine, she played a key role in advocating for the effective implementation of the African Union's Convention on the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls. Sy has highlighted the need for comprehensive measures to combat gender-based violence, emphasizing the importance of transforming political commitments into actionable solutions that address prevention, protection, and support for survivors. Her work focuses on amplifying the voices of marginalized communities and influencing public policies to enhance women's rights in West Africa.
