
Kazimierz Feleszko
Kazimierz Feleszko was a prominent Polish Slavicist and Macedonist, born on September 18, 1939, in Czerńowice, Tatra Bukovina, Poland (now Ukraine). He made significant contributions to the international study of the Macedonian language, treating it as a distinct language within the South Slavic family. Feleszko authored over 130 scientific studies, focusing on various aspects of Macedonian syntax and grammar. He spent his academic career at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Slavic Philology at the University of Warsaw. Feleszko passed away on July 3, 2001.
