Kelechi Iheanacho is a Nigerian professional footballer who primarily plays as a striker. Born on October 3, 1996, in Owerri, Nigeria, he began his career at Manchester City, where he gained recognition for his talent and goal-scoring ability. After successful spells with Manchester City and Leicester City, where he helped the team win the FA Cup and the EFL Championship, Iheanacho had a brief stint with Sevilla in Spain. He recently returned to England, joining Middlesbrough in January 2024, and expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to work under manager Michael Carrick as the team aims for promotion to the Premier League.
