Ken Parker, born Kenneth Farquharson in 1942 in Darliston, Westmoreland, is a veteran Jamaican singer known for his sweet voice and significant contributions to the reggae and gospel music genres. He began his career in the 1960s with the Blues Benders and gained fame with hits like 'My Whole World is Falling Down' and 'Choking Kind.' After relocating to England in the 1970s and later to Florida, Parker focused on gospel music, establishing his own label, Pisces Records. His life took a tragic turn when he and his wife were involved in a serious car accident in February 2023, leaving him in a coma as he approached his 83rd birthday.
