Ken Schubring
Ken Schubring is a 103-year-old Pearl Harbor survivor who enlisted in the Navy at 17 and witnessed the infamous attack on December 7, 1941. After his service at Pearl Harbor, he went on to become a flight engineer on B-29 bombers during World War II. Schubring's recollections of that day remain vivid, as he recalls the chaos and heroism amidst the bombing. Beyond his military service, he has also been an advocate for social justice, working for racial integration in schools after the war.
