Kenia Perez is a Honduran immigrant and mother who was deported back to Honduras after being apprehended by ICE in Texas, leaving her two US-born children, Febe and Angelo, stranded and in the care of friends and community members. Having fled violence in her home country, she has been a dedicated parent, managing to support her family while navigating a complex immigration system.
