Kenji Hirata

Kenji Hirata is the newly appointed Japanese ambassador to Uzbekistan, having previously held various diplomatic positions in countries such as Peru and Mexico, as well as serving as the Consul General in Miami. With a background that includes roles in Japan's permanent missions to the United Nations and the European Union, Hirata is fluent in Japanese, Spanish, and English. He holds a bachelor's degree in law from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo. His appointment marks a significant step in enhancing bilateral cooperation between Japan and Uzbekistan.
