
Kenneth Stanley Njindo Matiba
Kenneth Matiba was a prominent Kenyan politician and activist known for his vigorous campaign for multi-party democracy in Kenya. He served as Minister of Transport and Communications in the KANU government before resigning in 1988 to join the opposition. Matiba played a pivotal role in the formation of the Forum for Restoration of Democracy (FORD) and was a key figure in the push for political reform in the early 1990s, ultimately leading to significant changes in Kenya's political landscape. He passed away in April 2018 at the age of 85.
