Kerstin de Wit

Kerstin de Wit is an emergency room physician at Kingston Health Sciences Centre and a professor at Queen’s University. She is one of the co-authors of a recent study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal highlighting the alarming levels of burnout among Canadian emergency room doctors, with many citing a broken healthcare system and overwhelming workplace challenges as primary causes of their distress.
