
Kevin Braswell
Kevin Braswell was a professional basketball player and coach known for his impactful career in the National Basketball League (NBL) in New Zealand. Born in Baltimore, he attended Georgetown University before embarking on a diverse international career, playing in countries such as Israel, France, Turkey, and Greece, as well as a brief stint in the NBA Summer League with the Toronto Raptors. He joined the New Zealand Breakers in 2010 and was instrumental in securing the team's first NBL championship in 2011, earning the honor of NBL Sixth Man of the Year. Braswell also made significant contributions as a coach, leading the Wellington Saints to consecutive titles and later returning to coach the Breakers and the Auckland Huskies. Tragically, he passed away at the age of 46.
