Kevin Heyink

Kevin Heyink is a 48-year-old police officer from Hamilton, Ontario, who has Lynch syndrome, a genetic condition that increases the risk of several cancers. With a family history of cancer, including the loss of his brother to the disease, Kevin participated in a clinical trial for the Nous-209 vaccine, which aims to prevent cancer in individuals with Lynch syndrome. He is currently cancer-free and hopes his involvement in the trial will benefit future generations.
