Kevin Pérez Vargas is an inspector in the National Police of Honduras, serving as the deputy chief of the Traffic Accident Section of the National Directorate of Road Safety and Transport (DNVT). He was recently in the news for tragically disappearing while bravely attempting to rescue children from a strong current in San Pedro Sula.
