Kfir Zar

Kfir Zar is a 25-year-old Israeli soldier who was severely injured during the 'Iron Swords' conflict in Gaza while serving as a tank commander. He faced a life-threatening situation when his lungs collapsed due to exposure to toxic gases from an RPG attack. After extensive treatment, including a breakthrough ECMO procedure, he underwent a life-saving lung transplant, receiving the organs from a fallen comrade, which he described as a profound act of gratitude and a life-changing experience.
