Dr. Khadija Abbasi is a specialist in forced displacement at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. She has extensively studied the evolving dynamics of Afghan migration to Iran, particularly the increasing anti-Afghan sentiment and its implications for humanitarian crises, including the deportation of Afghans from Iran.
