Khawaja Mohammad Zubair is the Chairman of the Karachi Cotton Association (KCA), an influential figure in Pakistan's textile industry. He has recently been in the news advocating for changes to the Export Facilitation Scheme (EFS) that, according to him and other industry leaders, jeopardize the local textile value chain by imposing an 18% sales tax on domestic supplies while allowing zero-rated imports.
