Kheal Das Kohistani
Kheal Das Kohistani is a Pakistani Hindu politician serving as the state minister for religious affairs in Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s cabinet. He is a member of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and represents the Jamshoro district in Sindh. Kohistani was first elected to parliament in 2018 and returned to the National Assembly in 2024, subsequently being appointed as a state minister. He was recently in the news after being attacked during a protest opposing the federal government's canal projects in Sindh, which critics argue threaten the province's irrigation water supply.
