Khunying Mo
Khunying Mo, also known as Thao Suranaree, is a celebrated figure in Thai history, renowned for her bravery during the 19th century. Born in Nakhon Ratchasima, she became a notable warrior and led a rebellion against the forces of Prince Anuwong of Vientiane in 1826, successfully defending her city. Her valor earned her the title Thao Suranaree from King Rama III. She is remembered as a national heroine and is honored with a monument in Nakhon Ratchasima, where people continue to pay their respects.
