Kia-Lynn Bazard

Kia-Lynn Bazard is a talented young gymnast from The Bahamas who recently showcased her exceptional skills at the second CARIFTA Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Couva, Trinidad & Tobago. At just 15 years old, she led her team to a commendable third-place finish, contributing to The Bahamas' impressive medal tally with four golds out of five events. Bazard has been dedicated to gymnastics since the age of seven, training diligently to represent her country on the international stage. Despite battling shoulder and wrist injuries leading up to the competition, she demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination. Currently an 11th grade student at Central Florida Christian Academy in Orlando, Florida, Kia-Lynn aspires to compete in the Olympics and inspires younger gymnasts with her mantra that 'practice makes it permanent.'
