Kiara Zakoni

Kiara Zakoni is the head of the international cooperation organization 'Kubi' and has been vocal about the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Sudan. In recent statements, she highlighted that the country has been embroiled in a severe conflict for over two and a half years, resulting in one of the worst humanitarian crises globally, as acknowledged by the United Nations. Zakoni reported that the situation is deteriorating daily, with around 14 million Sudanese displaced in search of safety, and emphasized the critical impact on vulnerable groups, particularly women and children, who face significant challenges in accessing food and medical care.
