Kiarra Bear-Hetherington

Kiarra Bear-Hetherington is a water protector with the Wolastoqey Nation in New Brunswick and a graduate student in marine management at Dalhousie University. She has been actively involved in gathering historical data from elders about the decline of Atlantic salmon populations, emphasizing the cultural significance of these species to Indigenous communities.
