King Edward VI
King Edward VI was the son of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour, and he ruled England from 1547 until his death in 1553 at the young age of 15. His reign was significant for the further establishment of Protestantism in England, and he was a key figure in the English Reformation. Edward's short reign saw the introduction of the Book of Common Prayer and other reforms, but his death led to a power struggle that included the brief reign of Lady Jane Grey.
