Kirill Martynov

Kirill Martynov is a Russian journalist and former deputy editor of 'Novaya Gazeta,' as well as the editor-in-chief of 'Novaya Gazeta Europe.' Recently, he was sentenced in absentia by a Moscow court to six years in prison for organizing activities deemed undesirable by the Russian government, specifically related to his work with 'Novaya Gazeta Europe,' which has been labeled a 'foreign agent' in Russia. Martynov currently resides outside of Russia and is wanted by authorities.
