Kirill Zaleski

Kirill Zaleski, born in 1980 in Minsk, is a prominent Belarusian politician and diplomat known for his role in the high-tech sector. He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 2002 and has held various positions within Belarusian diplomacy, including roles in the Embassy of Belarus in South Korea and in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2018, he has been associated with the Belarus High-Tech Park, where he served as the head of public information and international cooperation before becoming the Deputy Director. On March 3, 2025, he was appointed as the Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus, where he aims to enhance the IT sector's contribution to the national economy. Zaleski is recognized for advocating a balanced approach to digitalization in Belarus and addressing the challenges faced by the IT industry amid significant geopolitical changes.
