
Kiro Krstev Atanasovski Nalbatot
Kiro Krstev, known by the pseudonym Strasho, was a Macedonian partisan born in 1923 in Kavadarci. He played a significant role in the resistance against fascism during World War II, leading efforts to organize fighters for the Second Macedonian Assault Brigade. Tragically, he lost his life in a confrontation with the Bulgarian police on April 7, 1944. He was posthumously declared a national hero in 1951, commemorating his sacrifice in the fight for freedom and independence in Macedonia.
