Dr. Kirt Henry is the Director of the African Caribbean Institute of Jamaica/Jamaica Memory Bank (ACIJ/JMB), an agency dedicated to preserving and promoting Jamaican cultural heritage. He has been vocal about the significance of Revivalism in Jamaica and played a key role in organizing the inaugural National Revival Conference & Church Service, which aims to highlight the cultural and spiritual importance of this folk religion following its recent recognition by UNESCO.
