Kivan Shebazi

Kivan Shebazi is a Dutch-Iranian cultural figure and author who fled Iran in 1983 after being persecuted by the Islamist regime. He has been vocal about academic integrity and the importance of collaboration in research, particularly regarding Israel and the University of Amsterdam, where he criticized the institution's decision to sever ties with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
