Kočo Solev Racin

Kočo Solev Racin is celebrated as one of the greatest contemporary Macedonian poets and a founding figure of modern Macedonian literature. He is best known for his poetry collection 'Beli mugri,' which is regarded as one of the most significant works in contemporary Macedonian poetry. Beyond his literary contributions, Racin embodied a strong national consciousness during a time when the Macedonian people faced severe repression and assimilation efforts. His works defended and affirmed the linguistic, historical, and cultural uniqueness of Macedonia.
