Koh Nguang How

Koh Nguang How is a 62-year-old Singaporean artist and archivist who has dedicated over four decades to collecting and preserving the history of Singapore's art and culture. His extensive collection, stored in multiple rented storage units, includes photographs, negatives, and recordings of art performances, as well as personal items like old school notebooks. Despite his financial struggles, including sleeping on his mother's floor to support his archival work, Koh believes in the importance of memory and storytelling, viewing his collection as a treasure trove of Singapore's past. He aims to digitally preserve his archives and share them with the public, highlighting the significance of remembering forgotten histories in a rapidly modernizing society.
