Kolith Kamal Jinadasa

Kolith Kamal Jinadasa is the Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic Resources and Marine Affairs in Sri Lanka. He has been involved in discussions aimed at resolving issues faced by the fishing community, particularly in relation to the sustainable practices within the fishing industry. Recently, he was in the news for participating in a meeting with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, where they addressed the cessation of protests by fishermen and sought collaborative solutions to improve the livelihoods of those in the fishing sector while ensuring environmental sustainability.
