Koltai János
Koltai János was a prominent Hungarian actor, painter, director, and set designer, born on June 8, 1935, in Budapest. He is best known for his character roles in various films and theatre productions, including his memorable portrayal of Gábor Gábor in the popular TV series 'Szomszédok.' A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and the Academy of Theatre and Film Arts, he worked with Budapest Film Studio and Balázs Béla Film Studio, contributing to short films and stage productions. He was a member of the Madách Theatre from 1965 onwards and was awarded the prestigious Jászai Mari Prize in 1976 for his artistic achievements. Koltai János passed away peacefully at the age of 91, leaving behind a legacy marked by his artistic spirit, dedication, and humor.
