Konrad Grebel
Konrad Grebel (1498-1526) was a prominent figure in the early Anabaptist movement in Zurich, known for his radical stance on adult baptism and religious reform. Originally a close associate of reformer Huldrych Zwingli, Grebel's refusal to adhere to infant baptism and his subsequent actions led to a significant rift between them, ultimately resulting in his imprisonment and death from the plague shortly after escaping captivity.
