Konstantin Plevenesh

Konstantin Plevenesh is a Macedonian writer and cultural figure, known for his emotional reflections on the experiences and tragedies of his homeland. In March 2025, he was in the news for commemorating the victims of a tragic event in the Macedonian city of Kočani by lighting a candle in the Church of the Virgin Mary in Paris, where he poignantly expressed the sorrow and collective memory of those lost and those still fighting for their lives.
