Kora Bernabé
Kora Bernabé is an agronomist and the president of Valcaco, an association dedicated to the revival of cocoa production in Martinique. At 36 years old, she manages her grandfather's cocoa farm in the volcanic region of Carbet, where she plays a key role in promoting the cultural and agricultural heritage of cocoa on the island. Her efforts are part of a broader initiative started in the early 2010s to rejuvenate a once-thriving cocoa industry that had nearly vanished in favor of sugarcane cultivation.
