Kostya Tszyu is a retired Russian-Australian professional boxer who is considered one of the all-time greats in the sport, particularly in the light welterweight division. Born on September 19, 1969, in Serov, Russia, Tszyu became the undisputed champion at light welterweight in 2001, holding the WBC, WBA, and IBF titles simultaneously. Tszyu was known for his powerful punching and technical skills, which led to a successful career with a record of 31 wins and only 2 losses. He moved to Australia in the 1990s and became a national sports icon, ultimately being inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2010.
