Krikor Zambaccian

Krikor Zambaccian (1889-1983) was a prominent Romanian art collector and founder of Romarta, the first art consignment shop in Romania. He dedicated his life to collecting valuable artworks and eventually transformed his home into a museum to share his passion with the public. Despite becoming blind in his later years due to cataracts, Zambaccian continued to appreciate and curate art, leaving a lasting legacy in Romania's cultural landscape.
