Kristian Mancinone

Kristian Mancinone is a dedicated father and advocate for gifted children, particularly known for his involvement in the Gifted Bologna committee. His experiences with his own son, who has a high IQ, led him to emphasize the importance of tailored educational approaches that meet the unique needs of gifted students. Mancinone believes in the necessity of recognizing gifted children as regular kids who require support rather than labeling them as 'geniuses.' He recently organized Bologna's first conference on cognitive giftedness, aimed at fostering dialogue among parents, educators, and specialists to improve inclusion and educational practices for gifted children.
