Kristin Ledgett

Kristin Ledgett is the co-owner of The Knit Café, a community space in Toronto that fosters creativity through textile arts. Originally a textile artist, Ledgett transitioned into running a craft-supply store and teaching space after recognizing a need for a supportive environment for makers. Since its establishment in 2003, The Knit Café has become a hub for knitting, crocheting, and other fiber arts, where participants can learn new skills and find inspiration. Ledgett believes in the joy of helping others solve creative problems and emphasizes the importance of community and connection in the arts.
