Krtich Nersisyan

Krtich Nersisyan, also known as Garegin II, is the Catholicos of the Armenian Apostolic Church. He has been in the news recently due to controversy surrounding his personal conduct, particularly regarding a violation of his vows of celibacy, which has led to calls for his resignation from the patriarchate by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and others within the church community.
