Kuma
Kuma is an Amur tiger who recently arrived in Kazakhstan from the Netherlands in September 2024. She has successfully adapted to her new environment in the Ile-Balkhash Reserve, where she has begun mating with her companion tiger, Bogdan. This behavior indicates her comfort and safety in her surroundings, and there is hope for the birth of cubs that could contribute to a new population of tigers in Kazakhstan as part of a reintroduction program aimed at restoring the region's ecosystem and biodiversity.
