Kumskis

Kumskis recently made headlines as he was elected as the new mayor of Siguldas novads, following the dismissal of the previous mayor, Vimba. He was the sole candidate for the position and received support from various political factions, including the Latvian Farmers' Union and the Green Party. Kumskis, who holds a bachelor's degree in education and is a qualified English teacher, previously worked as an educator at Krimuldas Secondary School. His election came after significant dissatisfaction with the previous administration, particularly regarding communication issues and delays in public works.
