Kuni Halanka

Kuni Halanka was a 70-year-old businessman who became the subject of a painful search by his family after he was forcibly abducted by men posing as police officers in Nairobi on February 7, 2022. Despite extensive efforts by his family to locate him, including legal actions and appeals to law enforcement, he was never found. Recently, the High Court declared him dead, recognizing the circumstances of his disappearance as a forced disappearance, which highlighted potential state involvement.
