veterinarian Taiwan

Kuo Hsuan is the chief executive director and a veterinarian at Faith for Animals, an organization that has been actively involved in stray dog sterilization initiatives in Taipei since 2014. Under her leadership, the organization has successfully sterilized over 27,000 stray dogs through a trap-neuter-return (TNR) approach, which includes microchipping and vaccinating the animals before their release. Kuo’s work has contributed significantly to a dramatic reduction in the number of puppies received by shelters and complaints about stray dogs in the region.
