Kurmat Rakhimov

Kurmat Rakhimov is a celebrated veteran of World War II from East Kazakhstan, who was born and raised in the village of Kyzyltas. He enlisted in the military at the age of 18 and served in various significant battles, including the liberation of Königsberg. Over the years, Rakhimov has been recognized for his bravery with multiple awards, including the Order of the Patriotic War. Now at the age of 100, he remains an active member of his community, participating in events and sharing his experiences with younger generations. His recent recognition includes a mural dedicated to him in Ust-Kamenogorsk, symbolizing the respect and gratitude for his lifetime of service.
