Kurt Egloff

Kurt Egloff was a Swiss politician who served as a member of the Zürich City Council in the early 1980s, representing the Swiss People's Party (SVP). He was notable for being the last SVP candidate to win a seat in the city council until the party's recent nomination of Ueli Bamert in 2026. Egloff's political career ended in controversy when he resigned in 1990 due to a breach of official secrecy.
